The special attraction of any personality's face is reflected through their eyes, as eyes skillfully express emotions as well as the general health of the body. However, it is not necessary that everyone's eyes are healthy and beautiful too. Here, healthy eyes do not just mean correct vision, but eyes that are free from defects. That is, there should be no fatigue, yellowness, dark circles, or wrinkles in the eyes; instead, the eyes should be clean, clear, bright, and sparkling. But nowadays, due to a polluted environment, mental stress, and a fast-paced life with a lack of time for care, contaminated water, diet, and deteriorating daily routines and habits, eye problems and diseases have increased so much that eye health has become a major concern today. If the eyes are healthy, they will look beautiful on their own. Moreover, young women have so many ways to adorn their eyes that they leave no stone unturned in making them look beautiful. But to achieve complete eyes from the perspective of health and beauty, it is very important to pay attention to those aspects that can afflict them with various problems due to lack of information and caution. So let's take a look at some precautions and information to keep the eyes disease-free.

  1. Cleanliness is paramount to the beauty of the eyes. Therefore, to keep them clean, wash your eyes by splashing them with cold water every morning after waking up and before going to bed at night. This will not only relieve the fatigue of tired eyes throughout the day but will also clean the accumulated dust, pollution, and makeup, as well as remove eye irritation and stickiness. Holding water in your mouth and holding your breath while splashing your eyes with water increases blood circulation in the eyes, which not only provides relief to the stressed tissues of the eyes but also enhances their sparkle. Eyes can also be washed by putting water in a special type of eyewash cup available in the market for cleaning the eyes.

  2. After washing the eyes, apply an eye cream or oil like almond, olive, or coconut oil around the eyes and massage in a clockwise and anti-clockwise circular motion with your fingertips. Regular massage prevents dark circles and wrinkles around the eyes and also provides relief from eye strain.

  3. Putting a few drops of honey or rose water in the eyes once or twice a week also cleans them. Get at least eight to ten hours of sleep to rest your eyes. It is also good to clean the eyes by putting in an eye lotion two to three times a week or daily after consulting a doctor, because nowadays, problems like irritation, fatigue, stress, dryness, and redness in the eyes have become common due to the increased use of computers and mobiles. If you spend a lot of time on the computer or mobile, or do fine work like reading and sewing, instead of working continuously, close your eyes in between, place both your palms on your eyes, and give them a light pressure to rest. Or, leave your work for a few moments and look around. And if you feel more tired, place cotton pads soaked in rose water or two round slices of cucumber or potato, chilled in the fridge for a while, on your eyes.

  4. Exercise is also extremely necessary for the eyes. Although blinking the eyes is a natural exercise for them, nowadays, due to the constant use of computers and mobiles, people even forget to blink, which is increasing eye-related diseases and problems. Increasing hemorrhage in the eyes, i.e., blood clotting in the eyes, has become a common problem today. According to doctors, this happens due to the stress generated in the eyes from less blinking, lack of exercise, and constant use of computers and mobiles. Therefore, according to today's routine, daily eye exercise is very important. Blinking continuously 10 to 20 times is the simplest exercise for the eyes. This keeps the inner part of the eyes moist and active. Rotating the eyes right-left, up-down, and all around is also a good exercise.

  5. Lack of vitamin 'A' and 'C' in the diet, in addition to other nutritious substances, causes yellowness in the eyes, deep dark circles around them, or weakening of their vision. Therefore, consuming plenty of milk, yogurt, green leafy vegetables, carrots, amla, and fresh juicy fruits keeps the vision sharp. Using more fennel in the diet or chewing fennel also sharpens the eyesight. Applying a mixture of cucumber and raw potato juice around the eyes, or placing a warm poultice of tea leaves tied in a cloth and kept in boiling water for a while, or tea bags on the eyes not only reduces the dark circles around the eyes but also the wrinkles around the eyes and the puffy bags under the eyes, as well as the problem of eye swelling.

  6. It is important for women who use contact lenses due to weak eyesight or use colored cosmetic contact lenses for fashion to be careful while using them. Before using contact lenses, they should be washed with a sterilized lotion. If possible, use disposable cosmetic contact lenses mostly, because if the contact lenses are not cleaned well, there is a great fear of infection spreading in the eyes. One should avoid rubbing the eyes when wearing contact lenses. Contact lenses should be removed before sleeping at night.

  7. Before sleeping, be sure to clean your eye makeup with a cotton pad and make it a rule to clean your eyes with water regularly. After cleaning your eyes with water, massage them lightly with an eye cream, night cream, or gel so that the skin around them remains moist, wrinkles do not form, and your clean, clear, and healthy eyes attract everyone's attention.
